Keeping track of what’s happening in your life helps you with forming habits and understanding what’s going on.

How I use trackers

I personnally use trackers for two main reasons:

  1. Keeping track of habits that I want to form
  2. Understand the patterns of my migraines
Example tracker
This is what my trackers look like

I want to read and exersise daily and work on a personal project as often as possible. I've added trackers for all three of those activities. I open up Commonplace every day, and immediately get reminded of these habits that I want to form. This helps me with regularely doing all of them.

I've had migraines all my life. Sometimes they occur more often, and I want to understand what's causing that. I keep track of when I have my migraines and of potential causes; currently I'm tracking if I had a good night sleep and if I've eaten healthy. With that I'm trying to discover patterns. For instance, do my migraines occur more often if I've had bad nights the days before?

You will probably track different things that are important to you. Commonplace will help with whatever you need.
